"The press and election"Cartoon Contest/Ukraina...

  
  PRENS - REALIZE
Institute of Mass Information together with International Organization "Reporters without Borders" and Charitable Organization "?reator" supporting by International Renaissance Foundation carry out International Cartoon Contest "THE PRESS AND ELECTION". 
Regulations
1. The theme: "The press and election".
2. The technique is free, black and white or colored.
3 .The formats are max A3.
4. There are no restrictions about the number of cartoons. 
5. The cartoons must be original. 
6. The name, address, phone number, fax, e-mail should be written on the
reverse side of each cartoon.
7. The works, if wished by the participants, can be return to the authors.
The Organizer keeps the rights to use the cartoons for 
publishing, replication and manufacturing souvenirs.
8. The picture of the author and short CV must be added to entry.
9. The Organizers are not responsible for the damages during the
transportation.
10. Deadline: not later than 15th of September 2002.
11. The JURY will selects the cartoons for the exhibition and the prize-winners on 18th of September 2002.
12 .The Press-Conference will be on 18th of September 2002. 13. The awards: 1 Prize - four days trip to Pariz ( Ukrainian Winner) or four days trip to Kiev ( Foreign Winner) and 200$;
2 Prize- two days trip abroad; 
3 Prize- 100$. 14. The exhibition and award ceremony will take place in Kiev.
15. The selected participants will receive a free catalogue.
16. The cartoons send to the address: vul. Artema 1/5 of. 814,
Kiev-53, Ukraine, 04053 17. The participation in the Contest means that the artists agree with the regulations.
